KSCCW is an implementing agency of Crèche programme under the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development since 1975. The children between the age group of 6 months to 3 years are benefited from this programme. As of now, there are 220 crèches run by the Council in the State. The optimum strength of each of the crèche is 20- 25 children. Nutritional food such as milk, egg, bread and fruits are given to the children. Activities such as growth monitoring, health checkups, vaccination and distribution of nutrition supplements are also carried out through the crèches.
