Montessori School

A Montessori school has been established under the Council in 2015 for children aged between 2 to 6 years. Montessori Method is a scientific educational approach developed by the Italian physician and educator Dr. Maria Montessori. Age below 6 years is the most important and crucial phase of psychological development in children. Montessori Method enables the children to grow into self-constructive and independent beings. Unlike the traditional method in which the children are passive listeners, Montessori Method ensures active engagement of children. Using different scientific teaching aids, students could learn at their own pace.

Before starting formal schooling, students will be trained in solving basic mathematical problems such as addition and subtraction. Also basic ideas of Biology and Geography will be learned through practical lessons.

“Education is a natural process carried out by the human individual and is acquired not by listening to words but experience in the environment.” – Maria Montessori

The school is open for children aged between 2 ½ to 6 years, rehabilitated under the Council and for outsiders. The school currently has a total of 48 students and 7 teachers.
